7- Natural & Best Ways to detox the body

Detox- What does it mean actually?

Detox/Detoxification is a process during which the blood of the body gets purified or filtered. This is nothing but just a process where a person starts eating healthy and good food and parallel stop taking unhealthy foods, which helps the body to get detox by eliminating the toxins through the liver.

Actually our body is very well aware about how to eliminate the toxins from the liver, kidney, lungs, digestive system and all and doesn’t require special treatment/supplements.

Now what is toxin? Toxin is basically includes unhealthy foods, air pollutants, synthetic chemicals & processed foods, which can negatively affect the health.

Natural ways to detox the body

In view of above, there are many natural and controlled ways to detox your body.

  1. Fasting is the one way to detox your body as it increases the production and activity of the enzymes used for detoxification.
  2. Limit the alcohol consumption as your liver metabolizes more than 80% of the consumed alcohol into a cancer causing chemical which is very very dangerous as word describes itself. While studies have shown that low to moderate alcohol consumption is good for heart health especially red wine, excessive drinking can cause many health problems. Excessive drinking can severely damage your liver function by causing fat buildup, inflammation, and scarring which results into your liver malfunctioning.
  3. Sleep- a good and tight sleep is very very important to support the health and detoxification process. Good sleep helps your brain to recharge itself, as well as remove toxic waste products that accumulate throughout the day. Poor sleep can cause to short- and long-term health consequences, such as stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.You should sleep atleast 7 to 9 hours per night to promote good health.
  4. Decrease your salt intake- excess of anything is always bad. Here too much consumption of salt can cause water retention in the body which can further cause to bloating .
  5. Do regular exercise – regular exercise helps your body to fight out the diseases, infections and makes your system stronger. Regular exercise lowers down the inflammation and allows your body’s detoxification system to work properly.
  6. Drink more water- water does so many things besides quenching your thirst. It helps in digestion , nutrient absorption when you eat something, detoxifies the body by removing waste products.
  7. Reduce your intake of sugar and processed foods- As high consumption of sugar and processed foods leads to obesity and other chronic diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes and these diseases may hinder your body’s ability to naturally detoxify by harming the body internal organs.

So at last the most important is diet which must includes plenty of fruits, green veggies, nuts, coffee, green tea, ginger, garlic and vitamin –c rich fruits and exclusion of fast & junk foods.
